EA Bundles & Quantity Breaks fixes that: when a shopper picks a bundle, multi-pack or quantity break and taps an express button, the app adds the whole selection with its discount and opens the checkout. It's on for every store, free plan included. ## Why Buy it now and Shop Pay can drop your bundle The express buttons under your Add to cart button (Shopify calls them dynamic checkout buttons) send the product form's variant and quantity straight to checkout. A bundle app usually adds more than that: other products, a different variant for each unit, a free gift, a ticked extra. Those never reach the product form, so a shopper who picks "Buy 3, save 15%" and taps Buy it now can land on checkout with one unit at full price. That costs you twice. The shopper sees a different price from the one on the product page, and the bigger order you designed the offer for never happens. Express buyers are often your most ready-to-buy visitors, so this is the worst place to lose the deal. ## How EA Bundles carries the bundle to express checkout Since November 5, 2026, [EA Bundles & Quantity Breaks](https://easyappsecom.com/apps/upsell-cross-sell) watches the express buttons on product pages that show one of its offers. When the shopper has picked something the theme's button can't carry and taps Buy it now, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal, the app: - adds the whole selection to the cart, exactly as its own Add to cart would, with the discount; - opens the checkout, where Shop Pay and the other wallets are offered again; - sends the shopper to the cart page instead if the add can't finish, so nobody reaches checkout without the deal. The discount itself is calculated by Shopify at checkout through the app's discount function, so the price is the same whichever button the shopper used. ### What goes to checkout - **Quantity breaks:** the bar the shopper picked, including bars that share a quantity with another bar. - **Bundles and multi-packs:** every product in the bundle or pack. - **Different variants per unit:** for example one red, one blue and one green. - **Free gifts and extras:** the gift the shopper chose and any ticked add-ons. A shopper who picks a plain quantity with no bundle keeps your theme's own button, so nothing changes for ordinary purchases. Items already in the cart go to checkout too. ## How to set it up The feature is on by default for every store. These steps check that it can run on your theme and test it. 1. **Install EA Bundles & Quantity Breaks.** Install it free from the [Shopify App Store](https://apps.shopify.com/ea-upsell-popups-cross-sell) and turn on its app embed when the setup wizard asks. 2. **Create an offer.** Create a quantity breaks, multi-pack or bundle offer for the product and make it live. The free plan runs one live offer. 3. **Show the express buttons on the product page.** In the theme editor, open the product template, select the Buy buttons block and make sure the dynamic checkout buttons option is on. The app works with the buttons your theme shows. 4. **Check the app setting.** In the app, open Settings and find the Express checkout buttons card.
