What you can do with your bundles from a chat

Before you start
- EA Bundles & Quantity Breaks installed on your store, with its app embed on. The free plan runs one live offer; Pro is a flat $9.99 a month for unlimited offers.
- ChatGPT or Claude. ChatGPT custom connectors get full access (read, drafts and publishing) on ChatGPT Business, Enterprise and Edu; on ChatGPT Plus and Pro they are read-only, so you can ask about stats and setup. Claude works on any plan.
How to create a quantity break from ChatGPT or Claude
The first two steps are a one-time setup. After that, start at step 3 in any new chat.
- Add the EA Ecommerce Apps connector. In ChatGPT: Settings › Plugins › + › Add custom MCP server, name it EA Ecommerce Apps and paste

Sign in, pick EA Bundles & Quantity Breaks (or any EA app you have) and click Allow on the Connect to AI page in your Shopify admin. Keep "Let the AI publish changes for me" ticked if you want to publish from the chat.
- Ask for the offer. In a new chat, describe the deal, for example: "Create a 2-pack and 3-pack deal for my best seller with 10% and 20% off."
- Check the preview card. The card shows the bars as shoppers will see them, with your real prices, compare-at prices and the discount applied, plus any warnings.
- Adjust in the chat. Ask for changes, such as "make the 3-pack 25% off" or "add a Most popular badge to the 2-pack". The draft updates.
- Publish. Click Publish on the card, or ask the AI to publish it (your AI tool asks you to confirm). Open in admin lets you fine-tune it in the offer editor first.

Name the product or collection the way it appears in your store. If the assistant needs more detail, such as which variant, it asks.
Publish, adjust or undo
- Drafts first. Everything the AI prepares starts as a draft with a preview card showing what shoppers will see.
- You choose who publishes. Publish a draft yourself with one click, or leave "Let the AI publish changes for me" ticked when you approve the connection. Then the AI publishes only when you ask it in the chat, and your AI tool asks you to confirm. You can turn AI publishing off for a store at any time.
- Every change can be undone. Publishes and deletes can be undone for 30 days from the card, the chat or your Shopify admin.
- Nothing lost silently. Edits made in the app meanwhile are kept; if the same setting changed, the AI asks before overwriting it.
- No customer personal data. Only totals and settings go through the connector; customer names, emails, phone numbers and addresses never do.
- Every change is recorded on the Connect to AI page of each EA app, with who asked and which AI tool, next to a Disconnect button.
Changes to a live offer also show in the Bundles offer editor as a "Review AI changes" banner: Review changes loads them into the editor, and Save publishes them.
