Free on every plan • works with ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code and other AI tools • every change can be undone
What the EA Ecommerce Apps connector does
EA Ecommerce Apps is our official MCP connector for the EA Shopify apps. You add it once to ChatGPT, Claude or another AI tool, approve it inside your Shopify admin, and your AI assistant can work with every EA app installed on your store:
- Sticky Cart Drawer & Upsell
- Bundles & Quantity Breaks
- Email Popup & Spin Wheel
- AI Language Translate
- Accessibility
- SEO & Page Speed
- Free Shipping Bar
- Rewards Bar & Free Gifts
- Announcement Bar
- Countdown Timer Bar
Your assistant reads the same numbers you see on each app's Analytics page, checks how each app is set up, and suggests what to try next. In Bundles, Email Popups, Sticky Cart and the four bars it can also prepare changes: new quantity breaks, BOGO deals, multipacks and bundles, new popup campaigns, cart drawer settings and bar text or goals. Every change arrives as a draft with a live preview card; you publish it, or the AI does when you ask it to (if you allow that), and every change can be undone.
The connector is free on every EA app plan. The AI runs in your own ChatGPT, Claude or other AI account, so there are no AI credits to buy from us.
Set it up
You need at least one EA app installed on your Shopify store and access to that store's admin. (No EA apps yet? Without signing in, the connector can tell you which EA app fits what you need and link you to it on the Shopify App Store.) The connector URL is the same everywhere:
https://mcp.easyappsecom.com/mcp
ChatGPT
- Use ChatGPT on the web with a Business, Enterprise or Edu plan (on Pro the connector can only read). In a Business workspace, an admin or owner adds it.
- Open Plugins (chatgpt.com/plugins, also under Settings), click +, choose Add custom MCP server, name it EA Ecommerce Apps and paste
https://mcp.easyappsecom.com/mcp. - Click Sign in, pick an EA app, then click Allow in your Shopify admin.
Claude (claude.ai, desktop and mobile)
- In Claude, open Customize › Connectors, click Add, then Add custom connector. Customize is in the left sidebar; if the sidebar is hidden, click the sidebar icon at the top left. (The Open Claude connectors button on any EA app’s Connect to AI page takes you straight there.)
- Name it EA Ecommerce Apps and paste the URL
https://mcp.easyappsecom.com/mcp. Click Continue. - Click Connect if Claude shows it, and a sign-in page opens. If it doesn't, Claude shows a Connect button in the chat the first time it needs your store.
- Pick one of your EA apps. If you came from an EA app’s Open Claude connectors button, or signed in before, the page lists only the apps on your store. Otherwise pick any EA app you have installed; with more than one store, type the store address (for example
your-store.myshopify.com) first. - Your Shopify admin opens that app's Connect to AI page. Check the store and the access, then click Allow.
- Back in Claude, start a chat and ask something like “What EA Apps do I have, and how are they doing?”
If Claude says a connector with this URL already exists, you or a teammate already added it: find EA Ecommerce Apps in Customize › Connectors and click Connect. On Team and Enterprise plans, an organization Owner adds the connector first; each member then connects their own store.
Claude Code
- Add the connector from your terminal:
claude mcp add --transport http ea-ecommerce-apps https://mcp.easyappsecom.com/mcp - In Claude Code, run
/mcp, choose ea-ecommerce-apps and select Authenticate. - Your browser opens the same sign-in page. Pick an EA app, then click Allow in your Shopify admin.
Teammates
Every teammate connects with their own sign-in. If your team already added EA Ecommerce Apps in Claude, just click Connect on it in Customize › Connectors and sign in yourself. The Connect to AI page in each EA app lists every connection with who connected it, which AI tool and when it was last used; disconnecting one doesn't affect the others. If two people prepare changes to the same item, each gets their own draft, and the second one to publish is stopped if it changes the same fields.
Several stores
One connection can cover all your stores. Connect once, then on the Connect to AI page click Add another store next to the connection, open the link in the other store's Shopify admin and click Allow there. A store is only added when someone with access to that store approves it. Then name the store in your chat, for example “How are bundles doing on my second store?”. Each store can remove itself from the connection at any time without affecting the others.
Who publishes
Every change starts as a draft with a preview. You can publish it yourself (the card's Publish button opens your Shopify admin), or, on the Allow screen, leave Let the AI publish changes for me ticked: then the AI publishes when you ask it to in the chat (your AI tool asks you to confirm). It can publish any draft on that store, including your teammates' or another AI tool's, and it can delete offers, campaigns and bars when you ask. If something you're changing was also edited in the app meanwhile, your other edits are kept, and the AI asks before overwriting the same setting. Every change, deletes included, is listed on the Connect to AI page and can be undone (a deleted item comes back with Restore). You can turn AI publishing off per store there at any time; the connection badge shows Full access while it's on.
If the AI can't do something, it tells you why and what to do, with a link: turn on AI publishing, reconnect with drafts allowed, install an app, or add another store.
Other AI tools (Cursor, VS Code, Gemini CLI, Codex CLI and more)
Any MCP client that supports remote servers works with the same URL. Transport: Streamable HTTP. Sign-in: OAuth, set up automatically (dynamic client registration); your browser opens the same sign-in page.
- Cursor: add
{"mcpServers":{"ea-ecommerce-apps":{"url":"https://mcp.easyappsecom.com/mcp"}}}to~/.cursor/mcp.json; Cursor opens the sign-in the first time it connects. - VS Code (Copilot agent mode): add
{"servers":{"ea-ecommerce-apps":{"type":"http","url":"https://mcp.easyappsecom.com/mcp"}}}to.vscode/mcp.json, start the server and sign in when asked. - Devin Desktop (Windsurf): add
{"mcpServers":{"ea-ecommerce-apps":{"url":"https://mcp.easyappsecom.com/mcp"}}}to~/.config/devin/mcp_config.json. - Gemini CLI:
gemini mcp add --transport http ea-ecommerce-apps https://mcp.easyappsecom.com/mcp, then/mcp auth ea-ecommerce-apps. - Codex CLI:
codex mcp add ea-ecommerce-apps --url https://mcp.easyappsecom.com/mcp, thencodex mcp login ea-ecommerce-apps. - Mistral Vibe (formerly Le Chat): Connectors › Add Connector › Custom MCP Connector, name EA Ecommerce Apps, the URL above, Connect (workspace admins).
- Apps that only run local servers:
{"mcpServers":{"ea-ecommerce-apps":{"command":"npx","args":["mcp-remote","https://mcp.easyappsecom.com/mcp"]}}}(needs Node.js).
What you can ask
- “How did my bundles do last month?”
- “What should I try next on my store?”
- “Create a 2-pack and 3-pack deal for my best seller.”
- “Change my free shipping goal to $75.”
- “Make a Black Friday spin wheel, 10/15/20% off.”
For changes, the assistant shows a preview card with what shoppers will see, such as bundle prices with the discount applied, the popup's text and pages, or a before and after of each setting. Click Publish when it looks right, Discard if it doesn't, or Open in admin to fine-tune it in the app editor. No card on your screen? Ask for the publish link: it opens the change in your Shopify admin with a Publish button.

Safety: you stay in control
- Drafts first. Everything the assistant prepares is a draft with a preview card. It goes live when you publish it, or when you ask the AI to and allowed AI publishing for that store.
- Only when you ask. The AI publishes only on a request you make in the chat; it passes your words along, they're logged, and your AI tool asks you to confirm. Text inside your store data (an offer name, a popup headline) is treated as data, never as instructions, and anything that looks like an instruction is flagged.
- Undo for 30 days. Every publish and delete can be undone for 30 days, from the card, the chat or your Shopify admin. Undo puts back what was there before; a deleted item comes back.
- Nothing lost silently. Changes go on top of the current version, so edits made in the app meanwhile are kept; if the same setting was changed, the AI asks before overwriting it.
- Sign-in is confirmed by Shopify. You approve the connection inside your own Shopify admin, on the app's Connect to AI page, so only people with access to your store can connect it. If the AI tool asking to connect isn't one we recognise, that page warns you before you allow it.
- Your choice of access. Untick AI publishing to keep drafts only, or untick drafts too and the assistant can only read. You can change AI publishing per store at any time.
- Disconnect any time. The Connect to AI page in any EA app shows the connected AI tools and a table of recent changes, with a Disconnect button that asks you to confirm.
- Every change is recorded. Each draft, publish, delete and undo is logged with who asked, the AI tool and the app.
- Built-in limits. Each connection has rate limits (and at most 60 AI publishes an hour), so a runaway chat can't flood your store with changes.
- The apps' own checks apply. Publishing goes through the same save steps and plan checks as the app editor.
Privacy and data handling
- No customer personal data. The connector returns totals and settings only, such as views, conversions and revenue per app. Customer names, emails, phone numbers and addresses never go through it.
- What we store. The connection (which store and which AI tool), drafts you haven't published, and a log of changes made through the connector, so you can review and undo them. Drafts, the change log and undo copies are kept for 30 days, then deleted automatically. Connection tokens are stored only as one-way hashes and last until you disconnect; a connection that goes unused for 30 days signs out by itself.
- Where it runs. On our own servers (Heroku), with data in Google Cloud (Firebase), behind Cloudflare at mcp.easyappsecom.com. Each app reads and writes only its own data for your store.
- Your AI provider. Answers from the connector go to the ChatGPT, Claude or other AI account you connected, under that provider's own terms.
- No sale. We do not sell merchant or customer data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Our full Privacy Policy covers all EA apps, the connector and this website, and our Terms of Service include a section on the connector.
Frequently asked questions
Does the EA Ecommerce Apps connector cost anything?
No. The connector is free on every EA app plan, including the free plans. The AI runs in your own ChatGPT, Claude or other AI account, so there are no AI credits to buy from us.
Can the AI change my store without asking me?
No. Without AI publishing, the AI can only prepare drafts, and you publish them. With AI publishing allowed for a store, it publishes only when you ask it in the chat, and your AI tool asks you to confirm. Every change is logged on the Connect to AI page and can be undone for 30 days.
Do I need all 10 EA Apps installed?
No. One EA app is enough to connect. The connection covers every EA app on that store, and the AI sees which ones are installed.
I don't have any EA apps yet. Can the connector help?
Yes. Without signing in, ask which app fits what you need (for example “Which app should I install for a sticky add to cart bar?”): the AI suggests the right EA app with a link to install it from the Shopify App Store. After installing, open the app and click Connect to AI to connect your store.
Can I use it with more than one store?
Yes. One connection can cover several stores. Connect once, then on the Connect to AI page in any EA app click Add another store and click Allow in the other store's Shopify admin. A store is only added when someone with access to that store approves it, and each store can remove itself at any time.
Does the AI see my customers' personal data?
No. The connector returns totals and settings only, such as views, conversions and revenue per app. Customer names, emails, phone numbers and addresses never go through it.
How do I disconnect?
Open any EA app in your Shopify admin and go to its Connect to AI page. It lists the connected AI tools and recent changes, with a Disconnect button. You can also remove the connector in ChatGPT, Claude or your other AI tool.
